ABOUT

The South LA Forward initiative is organized
around three pillars: 1) access to health services; 2) healthy food; 3) economic security; all focused on helping South LA residents whose lives have been
disrupted by COVID-19.
Our grassroots work is grounded by these principles:
-
We provide a hand up, not a handout
-
We uplift, not uproot
-
We extend and expand
-
We invest and we remain

The SoLa I CAN Foundation (SoLa Impact's nonprofit affiliate) is built on a simple premise: "If you can see it, you can be it!" We strive to inspire South Los Angeles residents and youth to see possibility and opportunity in their lives by offering educational programs, mentorship, job readiness training, and access to experiences they would otherwise lack. Our mission is to break intergenerational poverty through housing stability and educational advancement.
